Amy is a passionate facilitator and coach. She strongly believes that every individual has his/her own talents and deserves to have a happy and satisfying career. Her mission is to inspire and support various organizations in developing an engaging workforce for business success.
She has more than 20 years’ experience in the field of regional corporate learning and talent development with a number of multi-national corporations including BASF, Avery Dennison, Mattel, and Intertek. Her comprehensive expertise ranges from formulating learning and development strategies to managing talent pipelines, succession planning, and performance management systems. However, she has also delivered various organizational development and cultural change initiatives as an internal consultant. In her most recent appointment, she was responsible for leading a three-year global cultural change project in the Asia Pacific which was designed to foster a new “employee development” culture with the belief that “Talent is in everyone”. She strongly believes that it takes many different kinds of talent to run a successful business, and that development is for everyone, no matter what their business, position, status or stage of career.
She has a broad range of facilitation and coaching experience with all levels of employees. Clients and colleagues describe Amy as a catalyst for transformation in people and organizations. She has an endless capacity for passion and energy; this combined with her results-oriented approach have made a significant impact on the cultural transformation of organizations she works with. She has an exceptional ability to read people accurately and give insightful feedback to clients as well as workshop participants. She designs bespoke workshops to simulate work situations, challenge the way participants behave, and allow them to practice and learn collaboration. From Fortune 500® companies to small non-profits, she has partnered with organizations of all sizes and scopes across many countries in Asia. This diverse experience has given Amy unparalleled insights and tools for working with organizations like yours.
Amy is an IAF Certified™ Professional, ICF Associate Certified Coach and a Certified Points of You ® Facilitator. She is certified in DiSC, Strengths Profile, and Hogan Leadership Assessment methodologies. She holds a Master of Science degree in Strategic Human Resources Management from Hong Kong Baptist University, and a Bachelor degree (Hon) in Labour-Management Relations and Economics from University of Toronto. She also has a Diploma in Adult Education and Training, and Certificate in General Counseling.
Amy is now the Vice-Chair of the International Association of Facilitators, Hong Kong Chapter (IAF-HK) which works to actively promote and advance the art and practice of professional process facilitation, and support communities in their quest for a more meaningful dialogue in Hong Kong.
